I started identifying as a gay man when I was about fourteen, I knew, whole heartedly, I just didn’t think it was a thing for me to broadcast in terms of standing on a soapbox and preaching to people. I thought that who I am as a person is more important than a label.

I now have the privilege of being part of this extended family and this extended community that understands more about different aspects of my personality than I possibly do about myself.
