DAN

I don’t think its important for me to have masculine as part of my identity I mean my pronouns are he, him, his but I don’t think it identifies me. I guess for me masculine goes beyond gender and I think for some people regardless of what gender they are it’s important to be masculine, to feel masculine.

People assign different roles to whether you’re masculine or feminine, that’s too jarring and binary for me.

I really wanted to do home economics at school, or French but I feared to do it because of what other people and family would say. Having been bullied at school for my assumed sexuality I think I picked the subjects that other boys would pick.
